Limitations on Searching the Data Repository Website

A specific search may not return all possible documentation relevant to the search term(s). Some studies (for example, ARIC and CARDIA Studies) maintain some or all of the data documentation on local, rather than NHLBI servers. For these studies, the search function will not be able to retrieve documents that are not on the NHLBI server. In addition, older studies may not have documentation that can be retrieved through a search. For example, limitations may exist on generating variable descriptions or lists, or documentation may only exist as scanned documents.
